A private capital investment firm with an established infrastructure strategy is expanding its Australian investment team. The platform invests across core and core-plus infrastructure, targeting stable cash flows and downside-protected assets through a mix of control and minority investments. Continued deployment activity and an active pipeline have driven the need for an additional senior execution hire.

The role is focused on end-to-end transaction execution, spanning acquisitions, divestments and platform investments. Responsibilities include leading financial analysis and valuation, managing external advisers through diligence and structuring, preparing investment committee materials, and supporting senior investment professionals through negotiation and completion. The opportunity offers exposure to corporate M&A, asset-level investments and structured transactions, alongside involvement in portfolio value creation, bolt-on acquisitions and exit processes.

The ideal candidate will be an execution-focused investor with a strong grounding in infrastructure or adjacent real assets. This role suits someone seeking increased ownership of transactions within a high-performing, commercially driven environment.

• 7-12+ years’ experience in infrastructure private equity, investment banking, project finance or a closely aligned investment role.
• Demonstrated track record of leading transaction workstreams across M&A and/or structured finance processes.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation capability, including complex integrated and project-based models.
• Experience across infrastructure or real assets sectors such as energy, transport, utilities, digital or social assets.
• Familiarity with long-term contracted revenue models and concession-style structures.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to assess risk allocation and investment structures.
• Comfortable mentoring junior team members and operating in fast-paced, execution-driven teams.
