A private equity–backed business services group is seeking a senior M&A leader to drive its acquisition pipeline and support ongoing expansion across Australia. With a mandate to scale both organically and through disciplined buy‑and‑build activity, the business is investing in a dedicated senior hire to shape its inorganic strategy. The role suits an experienced Director-level professional with a strong track record in end‑to‑end transactions and strategic execution.

Working closely with the CFO, Board and private equity shareholders, you will lead transaction origination, assessment and execution across multiple service verticals. The remit spans sourcing, financial evaluation, deal structuring, due diligence oversight and integration planning. With the platform continuing to grow rapidly, this appointment represents a rare opportunity to influence strategy within a high‑performing, commercially driven environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years’ experience across M&A, corporate development or transaction-focused strategy
• Background from Big 4 Corporate Finance, investment banking, or an in‑house corporate development team
• Demonstrated track-record leading end‑to‑end transactions, including valuation, diligence and execution
• Strong commercial judgement with the ability to assess, prioritise and progress multiple deal opportunities
• Confident operating with senior stakeholders, including Boards, CEOs and private equity shareholders
• Capable of driving integration planning alongside operational leaders within a services-based environment
