VC/PE Portfolio Manager – Associate Director

• Oversee and optimise a portfolio of private equity and co-investments across asset-backed and industrial projects.
• Drive portfolio performance through engagement with senior leadership and co-investors.
• Lead and support ongoing diligence, analysis and value creation portfolio companies.

Backed by significant institutional capital, our client is a large-scale investor with a long-term investment horizon. This Portfolio Manager role sits within the core investment team and will play a key part in monitoring and analysing the performance of a diversified equity portfolio, working closely with investment teams and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities span financial and operational analysis, portfolio reporting and valuations, and the delivery of insights to support investment and capital allocation decisions. The role also offers regular interaction with portfolio company management teams, providing exposure across multiple sectors and investment strategies.

Candidates will ideally bring 5-8 years’ experience from private equity, infrastructure funds or investment banking, with strong analytical capability and a proven ability to manage relationships and portfolios. Experience within a PE-style investment platform would be highly regarded.
