Principal / Vice President – Infrastructure Private Equity

A global private capital platform is seeking a Vice President to join its Infrastructure Private Equity team, reflecting strong deployment momentum and an expanding portfolio across core, core plus and value-add infrastructure themes. The role will suit a commercially minded investor with deep execution experience and the capability to lead complex transactions while guiding junior talent.

As a senior member of the investment team, the VP will drive origination initiatives, develop sector theses, and build relationships with developers, operators, banks, and intermediaries. The position carries full execution responsibility, overseeing valuation, due diligence, structuring, financing, and negotiation, while coordinating internal and external advisors to deliver high-quality Investment Committee materials and recommendations. Ongoing involvement across portfolio companies will include operational improvement, capital optimisation, strategic initiatives, and preparation for exits, often through board participation or observer responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will bring 6-10 years’ experience across infrastructure private equity or principal investing, complemented by infrastructure M&A exposure from a leading investment bank. A strong track record executing complex energy, transport, digital or utilities transactions is essential, alongside advanced financial modelling, sound commercial judgement, and an ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Prior responsibility for managing Analysts and Associates, as well as contributions to firm-wide initiatives such as fundraising or ESG integration, will be valued.
