Investment Associate – Infrastructure/Energy Private Equity

Our client is a rapidly expanding global infrastructure and energy investor with a strong track record across core and core‑plus strategies. With an active international mandate, the platform invests in complex, large‑scale infrastructure and energy assets across multiple regions, partnering closely with management teams, governments and institutional capital providers.

Based in Sydney, this Associate role offers hands‑on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution and ongoing asset management. You will work closely with senior investment professionals and global partners, contributing to high‑impact transactions that shape essential infrastructure assets worldwide. The role also provides meaningful involvement in investment committee processes, portfolio management and thematic strategy development.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2-4 years’ experience in infrastructure private equity or infrastructure investment banking
• Strong capability across financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis
• Experience supporting origination, due diligence, structuring and transaction execution
• Comfortable preparing investment papers, committee materials and risk analysis
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders
• Commercially astute, proactive and detail‑oriented with a collaborative working style
• High professional standards and strong personal integrity
• Willingness to travel internationally as required
