Our client is a leading Australian infrastructure and energy platform, with a strong track record in originating, structuring, financing and delivering major projects.
As the Energy business continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an Analyst to support both the Energy Origination and Development functions. A rare chance to work across the commercial and development sides of the business, rather than just one stage of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance detailed project finance and financial models across the project lifecycle.
- Prepare financial analysis, scenario modelling and commercial assessments to support investment and development decisions.
- Assist with opportunity screening, feasibility studies and business case development.
- Support bid submissions, internal approval papers and financing processes.
- Coordinate financial, commercial, technical, legal and tax due diligence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work alongside developers, investors, lenders, contractors and advisers throughout project development and execution.
- Contribute across the full lifecycle of renewable energy and infrastructure projects, from origination through to FID and financial close.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 1-3 years' experience in investment banking, infrastructure/corporate finance advisory, project finance or Big 4 transactions.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- A logical, commercially-minded approach and genuine interest in the energy transition.
While experience in the energy sector would be valued, the team is ultimately looking for an intellectually curious and commercially minded Analyst with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in the energy transition.
