As an Associate, you’ll sit at the heart of project origination and execution, building your career in large-scale infrastructure investment while working alongside an experienced team in a highly collaborative environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the structuring, identification, and origination of new project financing opportunities.
- Undertake detailed financial modelling and analysis, while reviewing models developed within the team.
- Assist in the arrangement of financing through research, due diligence, structuring, credit, and documentation.
- Contribute to the negotiation of transaction and finance terms.
- Mentor and develop junior modellers to ensure high-quality output across the team.
- Manage and grow relationships across both public and private sector stakeholders.
- Collaborate with financial institutions, advisors, and external partners.
- Stay on top of industry, market, and regulatory developments in project finance.
Ideal Candidate:
- 4-6 years’ experience in a transactional finance environment such as banking, project finance, private equity, accounting, or law.
- Strong financial modelling expertise, with advanced Excel and valuation capability.
- Experience negotiating complex financial terms or contributing to the closing of large transactions.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, economics, engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Knowledge of infrastructure transactions, project finance, or PPPs preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly.
- Commercial acumen, analytical strength, and a collaborative mindset.
