Senior Analyst/Associate – Sponsors Coverage – Leading Investment Banking Platform

This opportunity sits within a leading investment banking platform with an established presence in Australia and growing relevance across sponsor-led transactions. The team partners closely with financial sponsors, providing integrated advisory and financing solutions across the deal lifecycle. Due to continued deal flow and increased sponsor coverage, the team is seeking to add execution capacity at the Senior Analyst / Associate level.

The role offers exposure to a wide range of transactions including buyouts, recapitalisations, and acquisition financing mandates. The successful candidate will support end-to-end execution, including financial modelling, valuation analysis, preparation of client materials and coordination of due diligence processes. You will work closely with senior bankers and maintain direct interaction with private equity clients, gaining meaningful exposure to sponsor-driven deal dynamics.

Candidates will have 2-5 years’ experience within a Investment Bank, Leading Independent or Big 4 Corporate Finance team. Direct experience supporting private equity or sponsor-led transactions is advantageous. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills are essential, alongside the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
