Join a high-impact team shaping the future of Queensland’s renewable energy transition. Our client is seeking an experienced Manager – Project Finance & Commercial Analysis to support the development of a key infrastructure asset, on a 12 month contract basis.

In this role, you will be pivotal in evaluating debt strategies, building sophisticated financial models, and advising on commercial frameworks that will underpin a critical greenfield renewable infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct debt analysis, including assessing debt structuring scenarios and modelling the impact of commercial revenue agreements on project viability.
  • Lead the preparation of commercial and financial components of detailed investment and procurement business cases.
  • Work closely with senior management, board representatives, and external advisers to drive project outcomes.
  • Support asset management activities and assist with ongoing project oversight.
  • Deliver clear, insightful analysis and reporting to project directors.

The successful candidate will be a technically strong project finance professional with a track record of shaping major energy or infrastructure transactions and is motivated by projects that contribute to a more sustainable future.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience building complex financial models from the ground up, including DCF, project finance structures, IRR/NPV analysis, and scenario sensitivities.

  • Working knowledge of the National Electricity Market (NEM), renewable energy offtake structures (PPAs, tolling agreements, capacity contracts), and revenue support mechanisms.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills specific to greenfield renewable energy assets.
