This is a key position within the commercial function, supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of complex transactions across project finance and corporate M&A. The Associate will work closely with senior leadership, investors, legal advisors, and technical teams to drive the commercial success of new and existing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models for project finance and corporate M&A transactions.
- Support the structuring and negotiation of debt and equity financing for renewable energy assets.
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate with technical, legal, and tax advisors.
- Prepare investment memos, internal approvals, and presentation materials for lenders and investors.
- Assist with the evaluation and execution of project acquisitions and joint ventures.
- Monitor financial performance of existing assets and assess refinancing or divestment opportunities.
- Stay abreast of market trends, policy developments, and investor appetite within the energy and infrastructure space.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-5 years’ experience in investment banking, project finance, infrastructure advisory, or within a renewable energy developer or fund.
- Strong financial modelling skills with experience in complex debt and equity structures.
- Sound understanding of project finance principles, risk allocation, and key legal documentation.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
