Our client is a global real assets investor and developer which is rapidly growing its presence in the Australian market. Focusing on investments in sustainable infrastructure and real estate, the business is passionate about delivering strong returns for their investors and capital partners, whilst meeting their sustainability and environmental goals. They have an opportunity for an Associate to join their Real Assets investment team in Sydney.

This is a broad role that will work on transactions and development projects, both at the asset and portfolio level, as well as asset management for existing and newly acquired assets. As part of a growing investment team, you will help manage the investment process from start to finish, including capital raising, origination, execution of deals and development/operation of assets. This will include preparing investment documents (IC and board papers), due diligence, financial modelling, negotiating terms with funders and financiers, portfolio management and engaging with investors.

The role will suit a corporate finance professional with c.4-5 years of relevant social infrastructure/real assets deals experience from banking, Big 4/infrastructure advisory, project finance or funds management. Strong technical skills and experience working on relevant transactions across equity and debt are key for this role, as are the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
