Associate/VP - DCM Origination (Project Finance specialisation)

Our client is a leading Investment Banking platform with deep networks in Australia and unrivalled access to debt markets globally. They are looking to appoint an Associate or VP in their growing Debt Capital Markets team, with a particular focus on solutions for Project Finance clients in Australia.

This role will support senior bankers with origination and structuring, through to distribution of project finance transactions, working closely with the PF specialists and clients (financial sponsors and corporates) to deliver innovative financing solutions across loan and bond capital markets.

Key responsibilities will include undertaking high quality market research on market participants, pricing, deal structures and investors; supporting the identification and analysis of new transaction opportunities; creating bespoke and compelling client presentations; pricing and liquidity insights and helping to develop the syndication and execution strategy of the team.

We feel this role will appeal to an ambitious Project Finance banker who is looking to move away from the technical and modelling elements of the role and into a faster-paced, markets-facing position, where you'll engage with a diverse variety of clients, investors and bankers globally. The successful candidate will have c.5-8 years' experience in project finance/infrastructure debt advisory, with a strong interest in capital markets.
